“I have been working in the healing arts, specifically recovery and psychiatric medicine for over twenty years. I am driven by the idea that we can create a new paradigm in mental health that is outcome driven, yet patient focused, within a framework of recovery for all. This concept is the foundation of NOVO Healthcare, LLC. We will not stop until each patient has achieved his or her greatest potential and fully lives into recovery from whatever diagnoses or human conditions that have brought them to our door for help.”
“I am committed to providing excellent nursing care to every patient. I will utilize the nursing process to assist my patients in achieving optimum mental health. I also practices the art of the therapeutic use of self and the sciences of nursing, psychology and biology to deliver evidenced-based, patient-centered care in a professional setting.”
I have been in the healthcare field for over 16 years and have loved every moment of it. I began as a medical assistant and eventually began my training in management. I have been a medical office manager for 15+ years and have been in medical billing for 15+ years. I attended University of Phoenix and recently graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s in Accounting. This degree will help to provide for our patients with a better understanding of the ins and outs and many changes that occur with insurance companies. “My mission is to provide quality services to all individuals, of any age, enabling them to live, work, and participate in their communities. I am committed to providing an atmosphere that offers superior mental health services to our patients and their families.”
“I am a graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. I have been practicing since 2010, specializing in child and adolescent mental health treatment, and have worked in a variety of settings including private practice, community mental health, crisis stabilization, and correctional care. My focus is medication management for children and adolescents with treatment needs including: attention deficit, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorders. My family and I are Nashville natives. My wife, Misty, and I reside locally and recently welcomed our first child!”
Joy-Liz graduated from Union University with a Bachelor’s in Nursing and worked as nurse in Med-Surg and Acute Care. “During this time, I noticed that a lot of my patients were not receiving the psychiatric care they needed. I went back to school and graduated with my mental health nurse practitioner license from the University of South Alabama. My goal is to help teens and adults with mental health challenges find hope and their life purpose. I believe in utilizing evidence-based practices that have shown the best outcomes for patients with these challenges. My goal is to help everyone achieve their purpose in life by assisting in their recovery.”
