Windle Morgan

President, Co-Founder

Windle has been working in the healing arts, specifically recovery, therapy and psychiatric medicine for over twenty years. Windle is driven by the idea that we can create a new paradigm in mental health that is outcome driven, yet patient focused, within a framework of recovery for all. This concept is the foundation of NOVO Healthcare, LLC. Novo Healthcare will not stop until each patient has achieved his or her full potential and fully lives into recovery from whatever diagnoses or human conditions that have brought them to our door for help.

Amanda Toothman

Vice President, Co-Founder

Mental Health is a passion for Amanda and her dedication to this population is unwavering. She holds a bachelor’s degree in science with a concentration in Nursing. Before moving into mental health, she worked at Vanderbilt University Hospital in the fields of med-surg, oncology, and cardiology. She is currently certified in both chemotherapy and telemetry. Her duties as Director of Patient Care at Novo, entail working directly with our patients, addressing medication and clinic-related issues.

CEO/Owner

Wendy has been in the medical field since 2004. She began as a medical assistant and has worked her way up to medical office manager previously. She is now co-owner of NOVO Healthcare and is pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Further goals include obtaining a Master’s degree in Business Administration to further help to NOVO Healthcare to expand.

Evan Witherington, RN, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Child & Adolescent Provider

“I am a graduate of Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. I have been practicing since 2010, specializing in child and adolescent mental health treatment, and have worked in a variety of settings including private practice, community mental health, crisis stabilization, and correctional care. My focus is medication management for children and adolescent’s with treatment needs including: attention deficit, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorders. 

My wife and I grew up in the local area and recently welcomed our first child.”

Life Span Provider

“After graduating from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing I began to recognize my passion for helping individuals achieve emotional wellness.  This led me to further my education and pursue Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner training at Vanderbilt University in 2016.  My priority is providing each patient with a compassionate space where they can share their story and work towards achieving their mental health goals.  I believe each individual is equipped with the ability to live at their fullest potential when provided with the appropriate evidenced-based tools and support.  It is my joy to come along side you in this journey.”

Porter Toothman

Therapy Canine

Porter was adopted from Maury County Animal Shelter in June of 2018. He is a Beagle/Basset Hound Mix and he is 4 1⁄2 years old. He lives with his parents Phil and Mandy Toothman and has three black cat siblings and a chocolate brown lab little brother named Fudge. He enjoys playing with his brother, sleeping and getting lots of hugs and kisses. Porter is thrilled to be a member of the Novo Healthcare team and looks forward to meeting all of you! He distinctively knows who needs his attention and enjoys providing a spark of happiness in each patient’s day.
